U2 To Unveil New Single on Tuesday?

That's the rumor circulating widely amid reports that U2 may perform their new single from the new album at Tuesday's Apple event unveiling the iPhone 6.

Supposedly, U2 has been shooting a video to coincide with the September 9th event and will unveil the band's new single on that day.

Will it happen? And if so, how soon will the entire album be out?

Will the new iPhone 6 include the full U2 album?

That's the speculation here.

And it certainly seems plausible.

"Invisible" is already out.

It's a good, solid U2 track.

And there's buzz.

Imagine if the whole album were out there... now.

All of a sudden. With no real warning.

U2 Glastonbury

So, the new album should be out soon... and the new song is called "Invisible."

But, what else will be on the new album, called (maybe or maybe not) "Manhattan?"

Here's a song (Glastonbury) U2 performed on the 2010-11 tour (really, only in Europe in 2010).  Larry says it IS on the new album, but has been re-worked.

I think it's a "billion dollar song" as is...
